Even though it is already half way through October, I'm just now getting around to sharing a few more pics of our busy, but very exciting September. It started out celebrating our sweet Ansley Kate's 5th birthday, and then a camping trip to Roan Mountain the next weekend. We had Jackson and Ansley's parent/teacher conferences at school, and they both are doing great! We got their proofs back from their school pics, and how cute are they?!

                     

We went on a memorable, wonderful trip to Disney World (which I'll post some pics of that trip soon), and then came back to celebrate daddy's 32nd birthday. Here are a couple of pics from dad's birthday, as well as some very common sights you see when when hanging out with Vada Belle. There is a great chance she is either in a drawer or cabinet dragging everything out, or sucking on those fingers while holding that lovie (especially if it is getting close to nap or bedtime), or climbing on any and everything! The picture of Ansley and Elsie is of them playing outside one day while daddy was building something, and I hear, "Oh look! Look at all this pixie dust!" They were thrilled to find so much sawdust, I mean pixie dust! The one of Jackson is of him one afternoon when he got home from school, he grabbed his blanket (and some stuffed animal I'm sure), and went outside and rested under this tree for a while. First grade is exhausting some days! :)

Also this month Vada Belle has learned how to say many new words, and she has finally started taking some steps! I've always heard "every child is different and will do things in their own time," but when my other kids were walking at 10 months, 11 months, and then 13 months... I was starting to wonder if she was going to go into kindergarten crawling. ;) Here is a cute little video of her:
