Happy Monday!

Ansley Kate has been wanting to take dance for forever now, and today she went to her very first dance class. I can't even begin to describe how excited she was! Eric took her because I was at the doctor with the other kids, but when I got home she talked non-stop about what all she learned and how much she loved it! Can you tell how excited she was??

Elsie went to Mamaw Ollie's house to hang out while her brother and baby sister took a trip to the doctors. I had to take Jackson in for his 5 year well check up, but we were also at the doctor on Saturday because he had strep throat- yuck! One week of school down and already sick. So he stayed at home today because he was still running a fever and got in some extra snuggle time with mama! :) At his five year check up his sight and hearing were great, he weighed 43 pounds and was 43 1/2 inches tall. The nurse gave him the book, The Berenstain Bears and Too Much TV, and she was very impressed when he sat down and read the entire book all by himself!

Vada Belle turned 2 months old yesterday, 8/19/20, so she had her 2 month check up today as well. She weighed 10 lbs. 1 1/2 oz. and was 22 inches long. She had to get 5, yes 5!!, shots, and 1 oral vaccine, so that part was not fun at all. She also had an ear infection, so now she is on an antibiotic for that. We're hoping that she doesn't follow in poor Elsie's footsteps when it comes to ear infections (she had 14 in a 5 month period before her tubes were put in!). Other than that she checked out great and is such a wonderful, happy baby, that loves to sleep!
