Easter 2015

Here is a little of how we celebrated our Easter this year.

The week before Easter we went to Mast Store to see the baby chicks and bunnies that they advertised that you could come take your picture with. When we dropped by they only had one bunny out, but the girls gave that bunny lots of love and attention.

 We then stopped by the mall and said a quick hello to the Easter Bunny:

We had our Easter Resurrection party at church the Wednesday night before Easter. We did some readings on the Easter story, made Resurrection Rolls, had a little Easter egg hunt, and had some yummy food to eat after all of that.

The day before Easter we went to Ralph Stout Park to their Easter egg hunt, and got some good laughs in at the hilarious looking Easter Bunnies they have there.

On Easter morning we got up super early so we could do the scavenger hunt that the Easter Bunny always leaves for the kids before we headed off to the sunrise service at our church.

We then had a delicious breakfast at church catered by Dan'l Boone Inn, followed by our regular Sunday School classes. The kids did a little Easter presentation after that and then we had our preaching service. It was a long morning, but the kids did great and were excited to go up to Mamaw Di and Papaw Fred's after church to hang out for a little while and get a little gift from them and Aunt Jessica, too.  

 We came home and had a lazy afternoon, and then dyed some Easter eggs since we haven't had time to get around to that yet this year.
